His Majesty the King has attained Muslim events, such as charity event of Thai
Muslim Women Association of Thailand. He is open for Muslims to practice their faith and in
according to their Islamic traditions -- such as Islamic clothing, wearing of Muslim headscarf
(Hijab) for Muslim women, and the way Muslim showing their respect for the court's officers.

Administration Chalermprakiet Center
Mr. Prasert Mahamad, the Chula Ratchamontri during that period, requested the
Ministry of Interior to find a location to establish a center for Islamic activities. Hence, the
government provided a state property of 50 rais, around Klong 10, Nongjok District of Bangkok,
where "The National Islamic Religious Affairs Administration Chalermprakiet Center", named
by His Majesty the King, is located. In an occasion of the opening the Central Mawlid Festival
