Forbidden Rules
There are main rules of what is forbidden in Islam, as follows:
1. It is forbidden to eat meat of swine (porcine animals, pigs), animal blood, animals
that die naturally or that was not slaughtered in the name of God.
2. It is forbidden to give out loans with interest.
3. It is forbidden to consume any intoxicants, specifically, alcoholic beverages and
cigarettes.
4. It is forbidden to gamble and play anything that includes betting.
5. It is forbidden to read and write anything that is a comparison to Allah.
6. It is forbidden to pay homage or worship any statues, objects, trees, the sun, the
moon, rivers, mountains and spirits.
7. It is forbidden to believe in the horoscope, superstitions and the use
of amulets.
8. It is forbidden to have sexual misconduct.
9. It is forbidden to hoard for speculation.
10. It is forbidden to earn a living immorally.
11. It is forbidden to kill any living creatures without appropriate reasons as written
