In 2007, His Majesty the King allocated 5 million Baht of his private fund for the
Sikh Association of Thailand to maintain and restore Gurudwara Sri Guru Singh Sabha, a place
of worship for Sikhs, which has been damaged due to aging. This great royal patronage has
been deeply appreciated by Thai Sikhs.
It can be stated that, over the course of their time in Thailand, the community
of Thai Sikhs have been able to perform their occupation while living their lives peacefully
and happily; they are able to establish monastery and freely practice religious ceremonies
according to their belief. The Royal Grace of His Majesty the King has enabled the people of all
races and religions under his sovereignty to live peacefully and happily in Thailand, throughout
                                                    time.

scripture Guru Granth Sahib, the eternal
Guru of the Sikhs. The scripture is seen
with an adherent in waiting. On the

is leading a prayer with a musical hymn,
                called the ‘Kirtan.’
