His Majesty the King and
His Patronage for all Religions
His Majesty the King is the Upholder of all religions in Thailand. He contributes his
royal patronage to enrich every religion equally and bestows the individual's right to freedom of
belief and religion of choice, Even though, Thailand is a land of diversity in culture, way of living,
belief and faith, Thai people live together peacefully beneath the royal graciousness. His Majesty
the King is the center of Thai hearts throughout the country, ruling the country according to the
Dasarajadhamma (the ten principles of a righteous king), and as the Upholder of all religions,
providing patronage for all religious throughly.
